Cast in NiHard
On basis of the high requirements for the wear-resistance of the mechanical face seal we use of high alloy cast with natural hardness of 58 to 64 HRC. The cast material is called NiHard.
The extremely high wear-resistance is reached by carbidic-martensite structure of the material and the selection of the alloy elements as well as her concentrations. A structure and combination of the selected alloy elements with the high degree of carbon achieves a crystalline structure with advantages performances in wear- resistance compared to other materials and steel. At the same time this material performs with a low a corrosion index.
